BIOGRAFÍAS              Sherman BISHOP                Nació el 18 de noviembre 1887 en Sloatsburg (Nueva York). Después de estudiar en la Universidad de Cornell, fue, sucesivamente, asistente de entomología y patología vegetal en la misma universidad, zoólogo en el Museo Estatal de Nueva York, profesor adjunto de biología en la Universidad de Rochester y, finalmente, en 1933, profesor de zoología.      Él está particularmente interesado en la sistemática y biología de Reptiles, Anfibios y Arácnidos. Respecto a los Arácnidos, hizo importantes revisiones de géneros, la mayoría en colaboración con Crosby, y publicó algunas notas sobre la etología de algunas Arañas.             Su obra:           Bishop (S.C.)
