Mesostigmata mites (Acari, Mesostigmata) associted with descomposing animal matter were collected in the Foral Community of Navarra (Northern of Spain) during the period from 11th April to 24th June 2017. Altogether, 844 mites belonging to seven families of Mesostigmatid mites: Parasitidae (11 species), Vegaiidae (1), Macrochelidae (4), Eviphididae (4), Ascidae (1), Halolaelapidae (2) and Laelapidae (3). Of these species, seven of Parasitidae, four species of Macrochelidae, four of Eviphididae, one species of Halolaelapidae and one of Laelapidae are new records for the Iberian Peninsula. In addition, information about species' density, ontogenetic stages when mites were captured and presence/absence during the studied period is given.
