|
Se describe una
especie nueva del género Thelyphonellus Pocock, 1894, que procede
de República Dominicana, isla de la Española, Antillas Mayores, la que
se distingue de todos sus congéneres por la posesión de dos omatoides
bien desarrollados y la estructura genital masculina. Este representa el
primer registro del género para las Antillas. |

A new species of the
genus Thelyphonellus Pocock, 1894 is described from the Dominican
Republic, Hispaniola Island, Greater Antilles, which may be separated
from its congeners by having two well-developed ommatidia and distinct
male genitalia. This is the first record of the genus from the West
Indies. |
