|
Se realizan algunos
comentarios sobre las especies del género antillano Tugana
Chamberlin, 1948. La especie Alauximus infumatus Bryant, 1948,
fue considerada una sinonimia de Tugana cavatica (Bryant, 1940)
en Alayón (1992). La revisión de la información disponible muestra
diferencias entre ambos taxones, por lo que se procede a restituir el
nombre Tugana infumata (Bryant, 1948). |

|
Some comments are
made on the species of the West Indian genus Tugana Chamberlin,
1948. The species Alauximus infumatus Bryant, 1948, was
considered to be a synonym of Tugana cavatica (Bryant, 1940) by
Alayón (1992). A reassessment of the available information shows
differences between the two taxa and makes reinstatement of the name
Tugana infumata (Bryant, 1948) advisable. |
