En el presente
trabajo se aportan nuevos datos sobre la morfología y ecología de
algunas especies del género Urophonius Pocock, 1893 de la
República Argentina. Se dibujan por primera vez los hemiespermatóforos
de Urophonius eugenicus (Mello-Leitão, 1931) y Urophonius
exochus (Penther, 1913); además se dibuján y comparan los patrones
cromáticos de las especies del grupo exochus y de Urophonius
granulatus Pocock, 1898. Por último se aportan nuevos datos sobre
los ciclos de actividad de las especies del grupo exochus. |

|
New data about the
morphology and ecology of some species of the genus Urophonius
Pocock 1893 from Argentina are given. The hemispermatophores of
Urophonius eugenicus (Mello Leitão, 1931) and Urophonius exochus
(Penther, 1913) are illustrated for the first time. The chromatic
pattern of Urophonius granulatus Pocock 1898 and the species of
the exochus group are illustrated and compared. Finally new data
about the activity cycles of the species of the exochus group are
provided. |
