registro de ácaros foréticos sobre Rhinocricus duvernoyi karsch,
1881 (Diplopoda: Rhinocricidae) y de la familia Heterozerconidae (Acari,
Mesostigmata) para Cuba |

|
Se hallaron ácaros
mesostigmata adultos de la familia Heterozerconidae y estadios
deutoninfales de Uropodina sobre la superficie dorsal de los segmentos
de la región media y las patas respectivamente de Rhinocricus
duvemoyi Karsch, 1881 (Diplo-poda: Rhinocricidae). Esto constituye
el primer registro de ácaros asociados foréticamente a esta especie
endémica de diplópodo y el primer registro de la familia
Heterozerconidae para Cuba. |

|
Adult Mesostigmata
mites belonging to family Heterozerconidae and deutonymphal instars of
Uropodina were found on dorsal surface of the body segments and legs
espectively of Rhinocricus duvemoyi Karsch, 1881 (Diplopoda:
Rhinocricidae). This is the first record of phoretic mites on this
endemic species of millipede and the first record of the family
Heterozerconidae from Cuba. |
