|
Se documenta la presencia
de tres representantes fósiles del género Hemirrhagus
(Theraphosidae, Theraphosinae) incluidos en el ámbar del Terciario de
Simojovel de Allende, Chiapas, México; fueron reconocidos por la
presencia de pelos urticantes Tipo VI y la quilla retrolateral en las
coxas; son tres especimenes juveniles de sexo indeterminado. El presente
registro, junto con Ischnocolinopsis acutus (Republica
Dominicana), constituyen la evidencia más antigua de la familia
Theraphosidae. |

|
Is recorded the presence of
Hemirrhagus (Theraphosidae, Theraphosinae) included in amber from
Tertiary amber of Simojovel de Allende, Chiapas, Mexico; they was
recognized by the presence of type VI urticating hairs and by the
retrolateral projections ventrally on coxae of all legs. They are three
juveniles. These records, along with Ischnocolinopsis acutus
(Dominican Republic), are the oldest evidence of the family
Theraphosidae. |
