|
Se observó un caso de
depredación de Mimetus sp., sobre Leucauge sp., en el Área
Natural Única Los Estoraques, al nororiente de Colombia. Se describe el
caso y se aportan fotografías de este evento de araneofagia. Se cita por
primera vez la araneofagia en mimétidos en la región neotropical, y de
un caso en el cual la presa corresponda a la familia Tetragnathidae. |

A case of predation of
Mimetus sp. on Leucauge sp. was observed in the Los
Estoraques Natural Area, in northeastern Colombia. The case is described
and photographs of this event are included. Araneophagy in neotropical
mimetids is recorded for the first time, also representing the first
case in which the prey belongs to the Tetragnathidae. |
