|
Mastigoproctus
es el género de Thelyphonida de mayor distribución y diversificación del
continente americano. Aquí se registra por primera vez a
Mastigoproctus giganteus giganteus Lucas 1835 del Estado de Colima,
México y se amplía su distribución conocida a otras dos localidades del
Estado de San Luis Potosí. En total se revisaron 19 ejemplares,
provenientes de los municipios de Tamasopo y Aquismón, (San Luis Potosí)
y Manzanillo (Colima). |

Abstract: |

|
Mastigoproctus
is the genus of Thelyphonida with the widest distribution and
diversification in the American continent. Mastigoproctus giganteus
giganteus Lucas 1835 is herein recorded for the first time from the
State of Colima, Mexico and its knwn distribution is extended to two
other localities of the State of San Luis Potosí. In total, 19 specimens
from the municipalities of Tamasopo and Aquismón, (San Luis Potosí) and
Manzanillo (Colima) were examined. |
