Resumen: |

|
Se reporta por
primera vez la presencia de la falsa viuda Steatoda nobilis en
Ecuador y Colombia, siendo éstos los primeros registros fuera de Chile
en Sudamérica. Los ejemplares provienen de las localidades de Puembo y
Quito, en Ecuador, y Bogotá, en Colombia. Se discute la significancia de
los registros y se entregan ilustraciones de la especie. |

Abstract: |

|
The presence of the
noble false widow Steatoda nobilis in Ecuador and Colombia is
reported for the first time. These are the first South American records
outside of Chile. The specimens were collected at Puembo and Quito, in
Ecuador, and Bogotá, in Colombia. The importance of the records is
discussed and illustrations of the species are provided. |
